CURRENT OPENINGS: Regional Representatives

Sollarus regional representatives have one of the best and easiest jobs in the world: They get paid for giving away money, in the form of Sollarus certificates, to prospective home buyers. These certificates can be used to pay for a home energy system, and are valued at approximately one-percent of the value of the new home (see details here in the "about" section of our site). We are looking for a number of local representatives to handle our business in every state in which we operate and the District of Columbia. Regional Representatives manage the introduction of Sollarus's program on a local level. This is accomplished primarily by the dissemination of Sollarus certificates and marketing material in an exclusive territory centered on the representative's home location.

Duties

• Take delivery of Sollarus materials and certificates and distribute them to prospective home buyers.

• Direct recipients of Sollarus certificates to register their certificates online, at the representative's website, provided by Sollarus.

• Monitor the progress of each case online via Sollarus-provided website.

Requirements

• Must have access to transportation in order to distribute Sollarus materials in the representative's local region. Materials are not bulky or heavy, so public transportation may be suitable. Sollarus furnishes addresses of local prospects but the representative can also identify local prospects/communities.

During the training period, generally 30 days, the candidate is compensated for the number of Sollarus Certificates that are distributed to prospective home buyers. The compensation is two-tiered: the candidate is paid (1) $10 for each qualified prospect who receives a certificate and furnishes basic information, including their name, address, email and phone number, and (2) $500 for each prospect whose certificate is endorsed by a Sollarus-approved Real Estate agent. The lead compensation ($10) is paid weekly for all prospects whose information has been verified by Sollarus. The certificate commissions ($500) are paid monthly, for all certificates that have been validated by a Sollarus-approved Real Estate agent, upon execution of a representation agreement between the agent and the prospect (unless, at Sollarus' discretion, there are circumstances that make purchase of a solar system and/or completion of a real estate transaction problematic, in which case the certificate will be validated at settlement). The representative is paid for each certificate as soon as the Real Estate agent endorses it (in other words, the home buyer can wait any amount of time before using the certificate for a solar energy system, or even sell or give it to someone else, but the representative is paid immediately once the certificate is validated). When the candidate successfully completes training, he/she can choose to work part-time, in which case the compensation schedule will remain the same as during the training period, or full-time, in which case the representative is eligible to receive a monthly draw of up to $5,000, based upon performance. Only full-time representatives qualify for exclusive territories. All representatives are independent contractors and no taxes are withheld from their compensation.
